Bermula dari tahun 1996, penghasilan NUFERA adalah dibawah pemantauan sekumpulan saintis tempatan untuk mengkaji bakteria yang selamat bagi penghasilan “peptide” semulajadi. Kumpulan pakar penyelidik diterajui oleh pasukan 9 orang saintis tempatan :

Dengan diketuai oleh Prof. Dr Rahim Noah, beberapa siri ujian klinikal telah dijalankan untuk menyiasat kesan dan keupayaan NUFERA untuk membunuh bakteria-bakteria penyakit. Antara ujian yang dilakukan adalah ke atas bakteria dari kumpulan Staphylococcus.aureus dan Meticillin Resistant Staph.aureus (MRSA) yang memiliki tahap menentang antibiotik yg kuat seperti Meticillin.
